Ben Carson: Prison proves being gay is a choice

For those of you who haven't heard of him, Carson is this year's conservative black crackpot GOP presidential candidate.

He's obviously running just to say stupid things that make the right wing go "Yeah!"

This, of course, is beyond dumb. Yes, men in prison sometimes have sex with other men, but that doesn't necessarily make them gay. And if they came out of prison gay, it also means they went in that way.

The right won't accept that being gay is innate rather than a choice, any more than they will accept global warming. But hey, maybe the world is only 10,000 years old ....
