Mississippi's ban on adoptions goes down, meaning gay couples in all 50 states can now adopt children. I had really expected much more of a fight on adoption, but this just shows the power of the Supreme Court's marriage ruling. It essentially removes all rationale for government discrimination against gay people. And that's why it was such an important ruling for ALL gay people, regardless of how you feel about marriage. The ruling was about so much more than marriage.
