Well, this is a good first step toward ending one of the most enduring symbols of anti-gay prejudice in the U.S. Predictably, the usual suspects are howling about religious persecution, decaying morals and leaving the Scouts. Good riddance. Those folks have a right to be bigots, but they also need to learn that bigotry comes with a price. And they aren't being persecuted because of their religion. That's merely a smokescreen.
