OK, people have short memories, but not THAT short :)

Would you trust this chicken?

  • Thanks for fixing the link, Furball.

And yeah, KFC probably would have been better off ignoring this joint. By going after them they just get them a lot more publicity.

  • furball.. If we're thinking along the same lines.. I've got a few non-PC jokes leading me to hell :P
That aside, I find the story amusing - and it's funny to see just how upset KFC has become, over a tiny restaurant in a far-away country. Besides, it's not like KFC has maintained an ultra-clean image of its own anyway. It has had its share of bad publicity already.

  • No thank you! Humor seems to take the shocking low road more and more lately.

Although I can see the humor and the attention-getting gimmicry here, I continue to draw the line on things that offend persons because of who they ARE, especially persons who have suffered unfairly on a grand scale due to societal hatred or indifference.

As a gay man, knowing that the Nazis rounded up my gay bretheren, made them wear the pink triangle to brand them as objects to be hated, and imprisoned and killed many of them just for being gay . . . NO, I don't find images of Hitler attractive. And I don't find using his image funny in the least.

  • I agree....though what I want to follow up with is a very not PC joke.

For some reason the link you gave is no longer active, but I found the story here: http://www.ibtimes.com/hitler-fried-chicken-kfc-m … r-1336611#

Who would have thought that Hitler would become so fashionable.
