Anyone watch the VMAs?

May have to watch for a repeat, but sounds to me like a showcase for girls/women of modest talent to make megamillions by acting like sluts :)

  • thanks @TopDad8LA, great stories with some surprises in there. I love that stuff, and that picture of Diana Rross in line, wow ;)

As for Miley, I think she's made so much money so young that it makes you little coo-koo. She will never have to fill out a job application, or look for a budget apartment, or take the bus so she says fuck it, ill go crazy.
But I know every move she made was carefully created by executives in boardrooms, so theres some reason behind it.

  • @TopDad8LA Oh wow, who is the nicest? Any stories?
Make a new blog with some stories :)

I had a feeling Oprah isn't as nice as she portrays herself. After she was told she couldn't shop at Hermes when they were closing, she dragged the CEO out to be tarred and feathered for not giving her special treatment.

  • Man, Mark, Oprah has too much money and class to go out in public looking like that:-)

  • Call me old fashioned. . . my Mama taught me to respect women but. . . this is not a "lady." Even on the street corners of Center City Philadelphia the whores were more subtle. This particular pig should be wallowing in swill and not using her family name to pack her bank account. Her Dad should feel ashamed for what he has sired.

  • Even Oprah is trying to be more controversial like Miley, just look at her new Penis Dress

  • Man who thought that black and white stiped coat and pants that Robin Thicke has on was a good idea? Costumes for this show were awful. Thicke is a good looking man too, though Blurred Lines isn't much of a song. But then that seems to be the case with much of today's pop music.

  • I'm just bowled over by her talent.
    what an empty headed dummy.

  • Well, from a marketing perspective, you have to give Miley credit. Once she aged out of Hanna Montana she was done unless she could reinvent herself. She's certainly done that, though it's hard to imagine this new twerking slut version will have much of a shelf life either.

  • Call me old fashioned or just old, but a huge fan god ole flat footed singers. Saw Bennett a few years back. Even in his 80's he can out sing, out perform, out class Gaga, Cyrus, Bieber, and the ilk.

  • "Billboard's Editorial Director, Bill Werde, thinks Cyrus' show was right on target with the direction she's taking her brand -- she is, after all, no longer the teen Disney star she once was."

Gee, I wonder what her "brand" is?

Naw, I missed it....I got sucked into the debut of 'Silk' on PBS last night.

  • I didnt watch it, i don't have a tv. But I saw the first few moments of Miley Cyrus and it was embarrassing to watch.

She went out in a slutty outfit, grinding against stuffed animals, just walking around fingering herself with her tongue out like a hooker on crack.

Maybe if she had a good dance choreography or something but she was singing a slow song you can't move to. The whole thing was awkward.
A few years ago she had a stripper pole on stage, ok we got it, you're not a sweet girl anymore, you're a dick-tease whore now. yawn.

Her parents must be under a rock right now lol
