German lawmakers vote to legalize same-sex marriage

Most of us probably thought this was already the case, but Germany's lower house of Parliament voted Friday to allow same-sex couples full marriage rights. Civil unions have been the law in Germany for many years. This isn't a done deal yet, but final approval is considered a sure thing. Germany is actually one of the last major Western democracies to approve gay marriage. It's about time :)

  • to late for those of us who fought for it. but some people still think german cars are good just because they are made in germany!
