Do I have big enough balls for this?

I'm flying off to Las Vegas for a job interview at the Review Journal. Hate to admit it, but I do have cold feet about making such a HUGE move this late in my career. (I'm 60.) So I'm hoping they make it easy on me: Either make me an offer that blows me out of the water, one that isn't worth a damned, or no offer at all. But if nothing else I am getting a free weekend in Vegas!

Also have a new 30 yo boyfriend who is crazy about me and I'm pretty damned fond of , too. Too much change for an old fart like me? :)

  • I thought the interview went well -- at least I was happy with it, as I can't think of any obvious mistakes. I was their first interview, so we'll see.

Vegas was fun. They put me up near Fremont Street, which is the downtown "strip," and there was plenty to see. And things are going great with the boyfriend, too :)

  • Darrell, Noël Coward said “life is for living”… I can’t imagine what else you would do with it. This is your life… your journey. You don’t question it. You follow the path wherever it goes… over, under, around, and through whatever obstacles are set in front of you, just like you have always done. Consider the positive. It may get you out of Texas… finally. All the best no matter what that best turns out to be. How

  • It's pretty exciting--both the job interview and a new 30 y/o beau! Have fun with both. No, you're not too old--change, I think, despite how unnerving it can be at times, is pretty damn fun.
