Couples mark 10th anniversary of gay marriage in Massachusetts

In some ways, hard to believe it's been 10 years already. Time seems to pass faster when you get older :)

But it's amazing how much attitudes have changed in the 10 years since MA began marriages. Back then, you'd have been hardpressed to find hardly any heterosexuals who supported same-sex marriage, and even a fair number of gay people didn't!

Now even most Republicans concede the issue is only a matter of time.

So time to appreciate those MA judges who had the courage to rule in favor of equal rights.

  • I didn't mean the nut cases. I was talking about serious GOP political consultants and politicians. You won't hear them ranting about gay marriage anymore, except maybe to a nut case crowd.

  • Bearin, thanks for the reminder; and yes, it does seem more like 5 years ago. Thanks Marc for that super video also. Life for LGBT people has improved, but the whole game hasn't been won. Personally, I don't see many Republicans who concede that it is a matter of time, but I try to stay away from negative people when I can.
