OK, this may be an unintended consequence of some of the new nondiscrimination laws.
Personally, I think bars should be able to enforce a dress code, especially on special event type nights, and if that excludes a man in a dress so be it.
There also should be a distinction between transgendered persons and drag queens.
I mean, come on now, nobody wants to see a bunch of drag queens invade a leather bar.
OTOH, I suppose if we have to give something up to have equal rights under the law, this would be something I could give up, distasteful though it may be :)

Frankly, I have mixed feelings about this, but I cannot help but agree with Pirrip in this matter.
Besides, haven't bars and clubs always been discriminatory for the most part, with bouncers deciding who gets in and who doesn't, based on appearances and clothing?
Would this still apply if it was, say, a case of a non-manscaped bear being denied entry into a twink bar?
