Hasbro to replace oddly shaped toy

After getting some complaints about the shape of the Play-Doh Extruder from the Cake Mountain set, Hasbro decided to replace it.

I don't know about you all, but I would have liked a toy like this when I was a kid :)

  • Rjzip can't see the big picture. A corporation sends out a toy to children that looks like a dildo. It was a mistake and leads to a possible legal battle by a parent who wants cash. Therefore, get rid of the toy. Just like the teapot that looks like Hitler, once something innocent becomes a target for something inappropriate, it must grey pulled off the shelf.

It has nothing to do with how you feel what is right or wrong. It is how the company handles their situation.

I would let my kid play with it after were laugh it off, but i won't let him take it outside off the house to prevent begging bullied.

Anywho, bottomline, it is a dildo. Haha

  • I totally agree with rjzip... There are many things that are phallic when observed from a slanted worldview... Do we hide it away? Should we not expose children to things such as pencils and the Washington obelisk? Just because the parents, grandparents, etc, have dirty minds, the kids shouldn't be punished for it... In fact said parents/grands might even reinforce the child's curiosity... I liked the one parent's reaction... Laugh and keep on letting the 4-year old play...

  • What is wrong with a toy looking vaguely like a penis? Turkey basters and frosting decorating tubes look like penises too. When something looks like a penis, I enjoy looking at it, but conservative/reactionary religious prudes have been shaming sex for so long that they think looking at something that reminds one of a cock will make them promiscuous or maybe even instantly pregnant. Weirdos! And THEY call US queer!
