  • matzoh ball soup, now that's a whole different animal. EVERYTHING tastes good with matzoh ball soup.

which brings me to a very bad joke that made the rounds while marilyn monroe was married to arthur miller. i don't remembeer the set up but the punchline had marilyn saying to her mother-in-law while being taught to make the fabled soup, "gee, mrs. miller, isn't there any ather part of that matzoh animal that you can eat?".

pardon me while i go wash my mouth out with soap.

  • Matzoh brie was a tradition in my house. You take several sheets of matzoh and break them into small pieces. Soak it in water to get it soft ( not to long, they will disappear), drain and add a few eggs, a pinch of salt and pepper and fry. Use to love it as a kid with a sprinkle of sugar. I love a piece of matzoh with just butter. Mustn't forget grandmas matzoh ball soup. I have a bowl every time I go to Zaftigs in Coolidge Corner in Brookline, Ma. Not a believer or a follower, but still love some traditional Jewish foods. It makes me think of family that are no longer around. Happy Passover to all my Jewish friends, from your Jewish American Princess.........

  • Yeah, peanut butter is the answer to a lot of culinary questions. LOL There are also lots of jokes about peanut butter and dogs and penises.
