while perusing the ny times this morning, i came across a line in an article that referenced the current fad in hollywood to have laser treatments for the removal of wrinkles in male genitalia...
of course. i had to research. apparently, george clooney started the fad, called ball ironing, a few months ago when he had treatments to remove hair, discoloration and wrinkles from his scrotum. why?
while i wouldn't be averse to spending some time with my head between george clooney's legs, i certainly wouldn't want to be wielding a laser.
here's an online article i found about said procedure:
Heartthrob celebrity George Clooney has constantly been made fun of for having the skin of his balls ironed out and not the wrinkles on his eyes. Clooney has inadvertently started a Hollywood craze in male cosmetic treatments.
Hollywood cosmetic experts have observed the rising popularity of a service known as "Tighten the Tackle" at the Beauty Park spa in Santa Monica. The non-surgical treatment to a male's testicles involves using a powerful laser to remove the wrinkles and hair, and reduce scrotum discoloration. Like the spa's female clients who want to maintain a clean and organized "garden", men want to have the same feeling too. During the awards season in the US, the spa was bombarded with requests for male genital treatment. Some of celebrity clients of the spa are preparing for the Emmys this coming September.
scary tho if it's like botox... injecting botulism agents on the sac that guards the fam jewels? wow...
