It's been in the news. Now it has been confirmed. As of this past weekend, Raymond Leo Burke, America's highest-ranking cardinal at the Vatican, was officially removed from the Vatican's Supreme Court, and demoted to chaplain of the Knights of Malta, where he will reign with much less responsibility. The ultra-Conservative and anti-gay cardinal, continuously challenges the jurisdiction of Pope Francis, and the Catholic Church's new receptive stance on homosexuality.
How ironic it is to find the demoted cardinal is from the United States. What does that say about America - that even the Catholic Church and a pope are ahead of so many anti-LGBT lawmakers and extremists in this country.

This may be the first and only time the Pope will appear on Daddydater
Raymond Burke is a pompous ass and only about himself, and the power he USED to wield. His desire was to climb the ladder of success in the Catholic Church and the Vatican nothing more, nothing less. He was the ArchBishop in St Louis a number of years ago and was despised to all except the mindless sheep that followed him. I believe he also hid some sex abuse claims also, He may be a priest in the eyes of the Church- but no holy feelings rather ego and greed moves him.
What did Malta do to deserve such a punishment? Having just spent three months (two months on the Camino) in Spain this past spring and summer I have to say I found that one of the more devote Catholic nations in the world is probably one of the most tolerant of the gay lifestyle and has legalized same sex marriage.
As a member of the Old Catholic Church, (Our Church Does Not Follow The Pope) I have to say Bravo to Pope Francis. You are bringing the Roman Catholic Church out of the dark ages. I hope the Roman Catholic congregation wake up and welcome Gay people into their church with open arms. That's the way we do it in The Old Catholic Church, All Are Welcome In This Place..
