When hateful statements are so boldly stated publicly, I often wonder if the hearts of people have changed much at all

A sign in front of a church in Harlem, N.Y. led by a polarizing and controversial anti-gay pastor is not only making its rounds on the Internet, but raising quite a few eyebrows along the way.

  • Holy Cow! That "best of" video in the HP is extremely bizarre. The depth of his hate looks boundless. Maybe he'll join Pastor Phelps this year and the two can commiserate together about all the wickedness--the two certainly deserve to be tethered together. This one quote of his in the HP article is too funny as he managed, in one long ramble, to hit all the gay stereotypes:"...But black woman let me say something to you: you have a very hard time competing against a white homosexual male. He's usually got money -- a white homo usually has an American Express card. He usually has an opportunity at the theater -- homos love the theater. They love to go out to dinners, parties, they love that kind of a thing...". Unbelievable! This quote reminded me of this William Haefeli cartoon from the New Yorker. :)
