The top photo is in Bangladesh where much of the world's cloting and goods are manufactured. The second photo is from Indonesia where local residents, with no access to waste diaposal infrastructure, throw trash and garbage into rivers running to the ocean.

  • While much of our air, water and land pollution in the West is due to packaging and waste of consumer goods, in China their pollution is caused mainly by production of those same products whish they consume and sell to us.
