A new bill recently introduced in the Tennessee State Legislature would allow people and businesses to refuse to provide goods and services to homosexuals. The bill was filed by State Sen. Brian Kelsey (R).
The bill states that businesses can refuse services and goods toward people from a civil union, domestic partnership, or same-sex marriage. The person or business would only have to say that it was against their religion to sell them goods.

Tennessee Republican lawmaker introduces the ‘Turn The Gays Away’ Bill February 12, 2014
Can somebody who claims that his religion does not allow him to serve people of other /or none at all beliefs work payed by the State of Tennessee? Is the hippocratic oath limited to one religion?
What if it's against my religious beliefs to cater to bigots and rabid right wing fundamentalists?
If religious right types think they need this type of "protection," I don't have too much of a problem with it. If it takes temporary inconveniences like this in order to be able to get our full legal rights, I can live with it. Once people see that same-sex marriage isn't going to make their world change, they will hopefully get over it and move along.
If God is love... they are all fucked... that is unless their God is not love.
This type of bill is being proposed in more than one state as the legislators see the anti-gay marriage laws being declared unconstitutional.
