I see men from all over the world on this site and I wonder what it’s like being gay in your country, can you walk hand in hand down the street, kiss and show public affection without any retaliation?
I’d be interested to know.
Thanks,
Bill
In the Philippines, as I was just there about four months ago. The gay community is slowly getting to that idea that gay men are for gay men and it stays more comforting that way. After being away for about sixteen years, during my time, gay men would either kill or steal as long as he ends up with a straight guy in th end. This is where opportunity for monetary paybacks come in, and it was bad....
I live in Iran . A country with a great history and civilization but has been under religious rules since 1979 . Being gay is forbidden here and further u are not alowed to love each other. I can never imagine to walk hand in hand in the public places . Every thing in privet and secret is possible but stress full . I deeply wish my people a day taste a piece of freedom and human right that u have . we respect all people and wish to see the world in peace without war .
I live in Belgium, and gay marriage is possible since January 2003 with no restriction!
Since 2006,gay couples can adopt a child, rules are the same as for straight couples! We can see all couples of all sexualities, origins walking hand in hand in the streets! It became like an habit, you know, nobody is gonna look at them!
I feel very lucky,i live in a country where people can just love each other! This is priceless! :-)
