What Do They See?

When I was a young man I desired other young men. Anyone who reads the personals online can see that is the way things are. When I was 25 the very thought that there were guys over 40 looking to get in my pants grossed me out! Now, that I am over 60, the very thought that some "kid" gets a hard-on looking at my pics astounds me! I have asked younger guys what turns them on about the daddy thing and I get a variety of answers. I get answers from "I don't know" to "My uncle molested me and I liked it. " And so I'm asking you younger dudes, "What is the turn-on factor for you when it comes to relations with a daddy?

I've always been attracted to older men as long as I can remember. I'm now in my late 40's and I have younger guys referring to me as "Daddy" or "Papi" and it trips me out because I don't look at myself in that way. When I was younger and my parents were my age, I thought it was so old. However, now that I'm that age, I don't feel "older" at all. In fact, I feel pretty good. I am still attracted to older men because they tend to be more settled and not play games.

For me the question is kind of like asking why I am gay in the first place; it just is the way it is for me. I have some very early memories of being uniquely transfixed by my father's friends well before puberty and before any kind of sexual thoughts had entered my mind, so it seems to run deeper than any intellectual reasoning could do justice to.

One of the most confusing things for me during high school was that I wasn't attracted to ANY of my classmates, male or female, though I did have crushes on most of my male teachers. This made it harder for me to understand that I was truly gay, and made it easier to put off coming to terms with my sexuality.

Of course, now that I'm in my late 30s I'm closing in on the lower age range to which I am attracted, and that in itself is a disorienting development as until recently I've never been attracted to anyone who could be considered a peer.

Tho I'm not younger, I've always had the attraction for older men. Even today I find men 40 and up to be the most attractive for me. I can't give you a definative reason why, it is just what I find most appealing.
