WTF!

Am I hallucinating or did I really post a blog on here last night regarding tattoos? If I did, it seems to have mysteriously disappeared. I don't recall saying anything offensive. Perhaps it was because of the pic of my model. He had an erection. Oh my! Or maybe someone found his tattoo offensive: TRUTH. Or perhaps someone thought the pic was something that I just copied from the internet and was posting unbeknownst to the model. I have been photographing the male nude for the past sixteen years. Every model signs a model release stating that he is at least 18 years of age and that he authorizes me to do with the images as I wish.

I suspect, if this blog is even posted, to get responses defending the removal of my blog. This forum seems to be very click-ish. I had seriously considered becoming a paying contributor to DD. But considering this slap on the wrist (or face), I may just stick with SD.

  • Hmm... I've seen other posts disappear and always wondered why. But I'm convinced by what our webmaster said. Its not the usual way how it goes in other places, but yes, it does what it is meant to do. Sometimes it leaves a strange feeling, when a blog evaporates, but no one gets hurt. Thats ok. (Just remember that writing in www is not like speaking eye to eye! :) )

  • >> apparently, it IS alright to post negative things about people with tattoos. piercings, etc. until one of those people posts something that marc doesn't like. and fuck them if THEY don't feel welcome or feel treated badly here.<<

So you didn't read the part where I wrote "People were posting negative things against people with tattoos..."? I deleted the whole thing, not just the part of overweight people. And I think tattoos are sexy as hell.

    >.maybe what's needed is to have people treated as adults and let them carry on their own discussions without constant second guessing.<<

What constant second guessing? I dont delete a lot of threads. The only one of yours I deleted was one where you posted a picture of a human heart covered in parasites eating through it. It was absolutely disgusting. If that's your idea of being an adult you can keep it.
I didn't ban you, I didnt say a word about it, I just deleted the post.

If Im inviting people to my house and you walk in and shit on my floor Im going to get rid of it to make my other guests feel comfortable. I know there are a few people who love to shit on the floor because its fun for them to see my other guests reaction to it. So people can discuss the shit, how we're all feeling about the shit, add more shit to the floor. And I get emails telling me there is shit on the floor, members telling me they want to cancel their membership because there is shit on the floor and I'm not doing anything about it, while you just pop in and out as you please leaving the shit on my floor.

Sometimes I'd rather not look at it, it can take me days to calm upset people down but only takes me a second to delete something, so its easier to delete it.
Saves me a lot of headaches. I made this site for fun, not headaches.

    >> i wish we had a list of "no-no" words and topics to consult..............<<
OK here is your list: don't post disgusting pictures of parasites eating out a human heart, and don't post things that will make my other guests feel like crap about themselves and want to leave my site. Post that on your site, so your members leave your site, not my members leave mine.

    peace out

  • "The whole point of this site is to make a place where people of different ages and sizes can hang out and feel welcome. I don't want overweight people think they are going to be treated badly here or unwelcome, so I deleted the thread.

If someone has a problem with people who have less than perfect bodies they can post it on their own sites/facebook/twitter etc where they can pay the price for their words, not here where this site suffers for what other people write.

    Thanks for understanding
    Marc"

interesting choice of words. apparently, it IS alright to post negative things about people with tattoos. piercings, etc. until one of those people posts something that marc doesn't like. and fuck them if THEY don't feel welcome or feel treated badly here. maybe what's needed is to have people treated as adults and let them carry on their own discussions without constant second guessing.

and, btw, i'm the one who posted the apparently only negative comment equating body modification through tattoos with body modification through obesity. i wish we had a list of "no-no" words and topics to consult..............

  • You didn't do anything wrong and there was nothing wrong with any pic.
People were posting negative things against people with tattoos and then it turned into negative things about overweight people. It started getting toxic and I don't want that here.
The whole point of this site is to make a place where people of different ages and sizes can hang out and feel welcome. I don't want overweight people think they are going to be treated badly here or unwelcome, so I deleted the thread.

And I'm not on silver daddies, Dennis threw me out because I run Daddydater and he has a bug up his ass about me. I don't know why, I've always been nice to him, but w/e.

  • Ask Mark? Mark is also on Silver Daddies. Maybe he is too busy over there to respond?

  • Other than the pic don't see any reason for it going away. Original posters sometimes kill blog entries but that obviously isn't the case here. Ask Mark
