The latest hunky actor to "come out" as straight is Hugh Jackman. He and his wife vehemently deny the persistent rumors that Jackman is gay. The rumors originated when Jackman portrayed singer/dancer Peter Allen on stage in THE BOY FROM OZ. Time was when no self respecting straight actor would even consider playing gay. Now it seems that they can't find any gay actors to play gay parts. Included among entertainers who denied their orientation: Liberace. I remember my mother having a crush on him when I was a small child. And even at the age of six I remember thinking there was something "different" about the guy. Anthony Perkins? Even though most of Hollywood knew that Tab Hunter was plowing him. He denied his sexuality until he died from AIDS.
