KATHY GRIFFIN

Kathy Griffin has never been one of my favorites, but the treatment she's received over the severed head is a little much as far as I'm concerned. They say it incites violence. What our president has done during his campaign and now in office is a thousand times worse than anything she has done. Our PUSSY GRABBING, mocking the handicapped, blood coming out of everywhere president and family are a bunch of pigs. Kathy has apologized and I except it. Our president NEVER once said he was sorry and even if he did, I wouldn't accept it or believe it.

  • A little bitter guy? Thats part of whats wrong with political discourse today. We can no longer have a rational discussion of issues. Instead we want to inflict pain. Its a very sad state of affairs.

  • By the way,Obama deported 2 million Mexicans.Just for the information of those,who religiously believe any fake news produced by bitter and frustrated Democrats.Let them continue like that,and they will suffer another defeat in 2020.I hope they will lose again,but this time by a very narrow margin.This makes the defeat even more painful,which is what they deserve.

  • Doankyl: Nah, I didn't get all worked up about it when people did it to Obama, though I'm sure some on the left did. It's a form of political expression. That said, one may be free to say what they wish in this country, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's free from consequences. ... I'm sure Griffin didn't expect quite the blowback she got, but she should have realized it was a possibility.

  • I didn't understand why she apologized at all. Sometimes a joke does not work. That's all. It's the essence of political satire to step over supposed taboos, reproducing images that in a slightly different context are considered ok; like you show in the drawings below.
    Remember Charlie Hebdo? Such a magazine wouldn't be possible in the usa, but magazines like CH and people like Mrs Griffin show the wounds society has.
    It is amazing to see the controverse the elected president arises and even more with how much vehemence this goes on - five month' and still no ending..

  • Hopefully it will eventually blow over and not hurt Griffin long term. But that is the risk entertainers take when they take a political stand. Most of the time its no big deal but theres always the risk of being Dixie Chicked.
