IT TIME
iTS TIME TO TAKE HER SON OUT OF THE SCHOOL SYSTEM THAT IS SO FRUSTRATED AND CONSTIPATED THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO MAKE SENSIBLE DECISIONS WHEN DEALING WITH CHILDREN. IT'S NO WONDER THE WORLD IS THE STATE IT IS IN
If there is something positive to say about being an American at my age it is this: 'The road is a lot shorter before me than behind.' In one of my political photo-collages I created is a bumper sticker which reads: "Future Americans will curse us for what we allowed our country to become. Fortunately, I don't have children, so they won't be mine!" I wish I thought that I meant it in jest.
Why is everyone so surprised when the "system" is found to be failing. We, Americans, do not want to invest in ourselves. Bridges are ready to collapse, so why are we shocked when education is a disaster? We are a morally bankrupt country. Not moral in a religious way. Religion has been our deamon since our inseption. We are uncaring, selfish, and comfrontational. We are scared. And, fear breeds hate. Prep for the next big revelution.
