@rjpixel The star showing up the number of online friends/favorites is super cool! Yes, everything was working...I was expecting a list by clicking the online button.
P.s. Sorry, I don't like how I expressed myself: same contents shared with all -> little less need for (still important) privacy, :)
@ryuji Oh, that's a good point about the scammers. I'll look into adding a friends list to the profile page.
When you go to your favorites, members who are online show the green dot on their portrait photo. Also, the Online button just shows up if there are friends/favorites online. I'll look into it to make sure it's working correctly, just in case.
Glad you liked the guestbook! And thanks for the feedback, again. This is very helpful
@rjpixel Great! I love it! Thanks again. My own guestbook was my only real issue.
The old settings I mentioned were just cool...that's all.
I liked public friends lists because they helped me verify, know users and meet new ones a little more easily. Friends don't share any exclusive content like on Facebook on here but we do have lots of scammers.
I still get and can relate to your point though.
The visitor count is not a problem, really! ;)
(I don't like to show how many users pass by...not a good verification tool...)
I only have favorites, friends, online and blocked. The online doesn't work...
Thanks for your availability and support. So much appreciated! :)
@ryuji I've just added a way to see each member's full guestbook (including your own). On the member's profile, scroll down to the Guestbook option, and click the SEE ALL button.
You also mention showing each member's friends publicly. Is that a good thing? I find it makes me reluctant to accept/send friend requests.
You also mention hiding the visitor count from the profile. Do you have a reason for it?
You mentioned a friend requests page. That's already available whenever you click Favorites. There's a list of favorites, friends, friend requests and blocked users.
Thanks for your feedback! Hope you like the new Guestbook page
@Windstar66 Yay, I'm glad! Let me know if you find something else that doesn't work, or isn't as easy as it should be. Thanks for all the feedback too!
Cheers,
Ricardo
@Rjpixel Oops, my bad. I thought I should use Chrome but check the site's menu button, sorry...and thanks in advance for your work!
The mobile version as it is and a desktop version with the same old settings would be just ideal to me (public friends list, private visitors counter, requested friendships page...), because these things made this site cooler than others. I love what you've done nontheless!
@ryuji Thank you so much for the feedback! I found the problem with the guestbook, and will implement a solution this weekend. About Chrome on your phone, there should be an option on the Chrome menu saying "Desktop site", right above "Settings", and below "Add to homescreen". Tap the three-dot button next to the website address to see this. If it doesn't work, let me know what phone you're using. Cheers!
Thank you, rjpixel.
I'm already using chrome 78 on my phone but I don't have this menu option...
I did check that page. The "online" option is not working yet but I mean I can't see other people's friends list and, much more importantly, my complete guestbook anymore, but only the last twenty signing. I had many users there who are not in my friends list and now they're just gone.
@ryuji Did you mean being able to see other members' friends? If you click the star button on the menu (desktop) or bottom bar (mobile) you can see all your friends and favorites
Thanks, guys, I love the updates too. I get it's a work in progress and I agree on what Marc is talking about.
I have two questions:
Will we be able to see our complete friends/guestbook lists? At least in our own profile pages?
Will both desktop and mobile versions remain available like before? I've personally always loved using the older desktop format on my phone too, and found its design way better and more elegant than many others. It's still my favorite.
Thanks guys!
I like this format better, I think I moves easily and updates faster for me. The menu button is weird but maybe it’s my phone. Only had one problem with the blog, typed a lot but only 1 sentence posted lol I wasn’t doing it again
I like the site over all and using it more now
thanks Windstar,
I'm having some troubles too, the site is herky jerky and not as user friendly as I had hoped. but were working through it.
I wanted something VERY user friendly like Adam4adam or BBRT or NKP but the designers insist that those sites are ugly (yet refuse to actually USE the sites and ignore their astronomical high traffic and return visitors and excellent usability) and they fight me every step of the way, so I am doing my best to try and get the site to be user friendly, as hard as it is to get people who veto all your ideas. >>Shrug<<
I really appreciate members speaking up on what they like and dont like so we can try to make improvements.
thanks
marc
Hi Windstar66! We're still making changes and trying to fix some of the bugs on the new site. I think the blog comments are fixed now. Let us know if you found something else broken.
Thanks

Old I know lol
I’m using mobile
When I hit the menu button it opens and closes fast. Can’t do anything with it

About seeing complete friends lists. You are able to see your own
