A Map That Shows The Most Famous Brand from Each State....Room for argument?

UPDATE: A few of the states are hard to make out. New Jersey is Campbell's, New Hampshire is Timberland, Vermont is Ben & Jerry's, Rhode Island is Hasbro, Delaware is DuPont, and Hawaii is Hawaiian Airlines.

  • Maytag left Iowa and the United States for Mexico 9 years ago, so this map is out of date by nearly a decade. Our main employers now are insurance and banking companies including Principal, Nationwide, Travelers, Wells Fargo, Blue Cross/Wellmark. Other major employers include Rockwell Collins, Deere & Co., Amnana, Bridgestone/Firestone, Flexsteel, and Pioneer Hybrid.

  • Well, for Texas, ExxonMobil is the biggest ($$$$$) brand, and Dr Pepper isn't bad, but for iconic I'd go with Lone Star beer.

    I think Apple is good for California, but I would have picked Hollywood, and Alaska Seafood over Carrs for AK.
