They kind of are like this aren't they? lol To give the context, the kids blocked their parents from watching crime murder dramas on tv i.e., "Murder Porn"
I have come to love South Park. Like Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert- South Park's creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone employ comedy... both low and high... to clarify current political mores while exposing the all too often lies upon which they are built.
The nation’s communication companies camouflaged charges and services that these ‘providers’ skillfully manipulate. A similar relationship can be noted in the way we used to buy electronics. After opening the brightly colored boxes at home we found that we needed to go back to the store and spend more money to get the cables and/or interfaces to make our purchases work.
The internet, phone, and cable providers offer packages which promise large selection and performance as a ‘come-on.’ Their true intent is having us spend ever more of our income to achieve ‘their’ original articles of agreement which are made to appear just out of reach to attain.
Except for the internet which is now a part of my rent- disseminating the cost with my neighbors at a lower group rate- I have given up my cable TV. By doing so I have achieved more quality and varied telecasts on my my computer ‘in my time’ while not being structured by theirs. My phone is similarly interconnected at a lower price. I find myself having more satisfying time to enjoy rubbing my nips than being ‘a bitch’ to the IP and CP companies who expect me to rub theirs.
Too funny! I guess most cable companies are the same, but I'm pretty sure our cable technician kept his nips undercover--I'll be more attentive the next time he shows up (hopefully they won't send a woman!). :)

Too funny. I've *always* had a fantasy of messing around with the cable guy but it's never happened. :-/
