Poll: What do y'all think of the Caitlyn Jenner Halloween Costume?

Do you think its offensive and insensitive or do you think it's fine and people need to lighten up?
I'm curious what others think on this.

  • I think the costume is great! Somehow I dont think she'll be balking at all the attention that this generates as she slowly fades into "who really cares anymore". Just sayin

  • I have a messed up sense of humor, and I found the Caitlyn costume hilarious. Personally, aside from Bill Maher's controversial Steve Irwin costume, this would be my personal favorite "offensive" Halloween costume

  • It's OK with me. She's a public figure and fair game. And beyond that even, with the reality TV and all, she's made herself fertile ground for humor :)

  • What is or is not tasteless is a matter of perspective. To me. Jenner’s particular public news for which there was a conscious choice not to keep it private allows and even encourages verbal, typographical, and couture discussions and lampooning. The end point is that the situation is not hidden- rather it is open to discourse both in earnest and in comedy. The costumes will always look better on those more attractive than not. I think, as always, the only element of cruelty here is directed at the wrong person wearing the dress.

  • Maybe tasteless, but in a forum where she's profiting from her life change, she's open game to parody.

  • I wouldn't wear it, but I don't think it's offensive. I find Caitlyn Jenner offensive for the way she went about the whole process of her transition. She's is a public figure and everything is up for grabs (except her nuts)........
