Spammers on the site

Every website big or small has someone trying to do email scams.
When we find them we ban them, but sometimes they are able to send a few emails out before we know they're there.
Heres what the scam looks like.

Meet me on Yahoo:

It starts out with an email from a seemingly hot guy "looking for love", then he says to contact him on Yahoo, AIM or MSN messanger. They use fake photos of impossibly hot looking models to lure you in.

Scammers ALWAYS ask you to meet them off the site, like Yahoo or Msn.
They know that if they ask for credit cards or money on the site they will be banned, so they ask you to meet them on Yahoo or MSN.
They use Yahoo or MSN because its easy for them to create hundreds of fake accounts to run more scams.

This is an actual message a spammer sent out here so you get an idea of what they say "hello am perry cole am new in the site i was just looking through the site and i saw your profile and in was thinking if we could be friends or may be something more cause am stilling searching for the right one waiting to hear from you and you can add me to so we can chat here is my id perrycole121@yahoo.com bye for now"

They seem real, carry on a conversation for about 2 minutes and then they say they have videos or photos on another site. You go to the other site and it wants you to "verify" your age with a credit card to gain access to the media. NO, NOT, RUN! it's FRAUD.

Believe me they have yahoo address books with THOUSANDS of guys in them, working them all to get money out of them. this is what they do for a living.

Please let us know the screen name of the member using the "Report Spammer" button on the bottom of every email you get. if you dont have the email or cant find it then just write to me, or click "Contact us" on the bottom of every page.

Once we know about the scammer we can remove them immediately.
But they are like cockroaches and will make a new account the next day trying to lure more people again. So just be aware, dont give your info out and report them.

  • Thanks Rassbeary appreciate it.
I'm on some other sites and they have email scammers too. So everyone should learn how to recognize them.
