Pro HTC
Pro iPhone
I either lost my iphone tonight or it was stolen. Either way I need to get a new phone and not sure what to get.
I was wondering what you all have and if you would recommend it.
Also thinking of waiting until the iphone 5's come out and just get one of those.

it has been very reliable.
Battery power with these phones IS a problem, as they gobble up the battery quickly...but just have charging cable at work, in your car and at home and get in the habit of plugging in whenever you can.
It turns out, when AT&T took over Bell South, the system was never updated to handle all the latest technology. When everyone was on their smart phones they system could not handle it. He got rid of the smart phone and AT&T and did not have any problems since. I think he went to Metro PCS.
I had an iPhone 3 and it was great at first but as time went by it got slower and sometimes would crash. I remember sometimes the camera and the gps on it wouldn't even loadup.
2 of my friends have an HTC EVO (Android with Sprint) and they love them. The screen is bigger too. Another friend has an iPhone 4 and loves it. So I go back and forth.
iPhone 5 will be coming out and may solve a lot of the previous problems.
Don't get me wrong.. I love my iPod Touch, but I am all for open-source software, and consider Steve Jobs to be pretty much iFeuhrer, and am not a big fan of Apple's exclusivity policy (but again, that's a personal philosophical stance).
That aside, as mentioned already, there are a lot of optional features with other phones while you are stuck with one model with the iPhones.
Of course, you can always jailbreak your iPhone and enjoy the rebel/alternate app store which Steve Jobs would gladly gas if he could :P
Here's what I think is one of the big factors in making your decision: If your house is already populated with Mac computers and Apple products, adding the iPhone is probably your best choice as it will integrate into that Apple environment without an issue. If you're running primarily Windows and other non-Apple products, whether from Microsoft or the Linux community, the Android OS is a better choice, and I can really recommend the HTC products, particularly the Evo. Also, the Android OS phone vendors offer more product choices - if you want a physical keyboard (a slide out with the keyboard on it), you can get that, but Apple offers no such option.
