Ben & Jerry's issues pro-gay marriage flavor

Ben & Jerry’s is showing their support for the gays! There's a proposal in the UK to legalize same sex marriage and Ben & Jerry's has issued a new flavor to show their support. "Because everyone is equal and deserves to live Apple-y Ever After!"
Its apple pie ice cream with chunks of apples and pie crust. I'm going to buy some. It sounds really good to me especially with some caramel on it mmm

  • In 2001 when my spouse and I had our Civil Union in Vermont we decided to celebrate the state as well. Everything served had to be from Vermont, and I did not want a wedding cake. I EMailed Ben & Jerry's, told them our story, and said I wanted an Ice Cream Tasting. They directed me to a 'scoop shop' saying that I could probably arrange it through them. The next day I was contacted by phone from their executive offices. They wanted to be part of our wedding if we wanted. They requested how many people were going to attend (65), sent coupons to me, and where to get the largest selection of our choice. They sent to the Inn, where the weekend was held, scoops, Tee shirts, freezer bags and the inn did the set-up as directed by someone at B&J.     seems everyone is making a big issues out of two people wanting to share their lives together.
