Are there people into... blood?

I don't really make posts to rant about much, I'm asking this because I really would like to know. Maybe I'm naive on this.

For years I've seen profiles saying "No scat, no blood" etc.
No scat I can understand, but why say "No Blood"? Are people into blood?

I've never once met someone saying he was into blood. Not even a hint of that. I have met a couple of guys into scat (ok I once put Betty Crocker cake frosting in my butt and a guy ate me out. I was young and needed the money), but blood?
Never seen any profile looking for it, I've never seen a website or forum dedicated to it.

So are there people into blood? Why even write that?

  • Fucking involves stretching the skin. In so doing there is the opportunity for blood exchange. It is yet another reason for using condoms when involved in anal sex. Once when I got fucked I was surprised to find that there was a lot of red blood on the bed... Really didn't think the guy was that large but it happened... It surprised both of us actually.

Exchange of body fluids is one way HIV is transmitted. Having a pool of blood following a good fucking was as embarrassing as having some amount of scat in the process (not into that). Am certainly, not into blood either... guess in the fucking part there was a blood vessel stretched just too much...

Like BEHT I, too, saw the program on TV about sexual turn ons for people. One was cutting and licking the blood. One person went so far as to actually insert a needle in the arm of her "donor" (AKA "lover") and she sat there and sucked the blood directly. It was a sexual turn on (at least for her). The program highlighted vampirism.

BTW, have been fucked many times since and never had blood appear again. Whew!

  • i've seen the phrase a few times as early as the late 90's when i started reading old-school personals... i don't necessarily think having the term show up more often is necessarily only the result of the new-found interest in vampires novels, etc...

when i saw the term in the past, it usually follows terminology inferring rough play or BDSM... i understood it to mean that it was where the guy drew his boundaries, ie rough play until the point of drawing blood... just the same as the scat reference would mean that the bottom guy wouldn't want to kiss/suck the top's schlong after anal play...

  • When I say it I mean enough roughness that it causes blood. I did go home with a guy who was so rough he did draw blood....needless to say it was a short stay and we never met up again.

  • Let's face it, some of the activities that are related to sex in the individual mind, have absolutely nothing to do with sex to the population at large. The first time a guy started kissing, licking and worshiping my feet I was surprised, startled and a little confused. I'd never heard of such a thing or even imagined it. Turned out I love and really get turned on when my feet are the center of a mans lust.

But if someone were to be into blood, in whatever way, I am sure that I would have no interest at all and shyy away from it at the first introduction and thereafter. I would even list it as being among the taboo things: scat, pain, etc. that I would not do. Many guys list these three activities (pain, scat, blood) because they see them listed by other guys. I know thats what I did.

And I do not date Vampires!!

  • I think it might be the current fascination with vampires. I know that there is a subculture (hetero) into blood drinking. Perhaps that faction also exists somewhere in the Gay community. Why not just play Russian roulette?

  • I think that when guys say "no blood", they mean that they are NOT interested in being pierced or shaved as part of the play, OR, if they are into some SM stuff, the whippings, etc will NOT be so severe as to produce wounds that actively bleed.

I have been in some SM groups where a guy who was being fucked so hard with a dildo that there was some blood on the toy. I called it to a Master's attention (he shrugged it off). I later told the slave and he was not all that concerned either. Maybe that's what it means: Fuck hard BUT no tearing of anal tissue sufficient to cause bleeding.

    What do other men think?
