Guys, please don't send money to strangers who ask you for it

Theres been a wave of scams lately all over the internet and on many websites, and I want to warn everyone here do not send money to anyone if they ask you for it.
you WILL lose that money

Also don't click links strangers send you to go to porn sites, those are scams too.

The scams go like this

1. Someone creates an account with a fake photo of a beautiful too-good-to-be-true model. Usually a 22 year old with a 10 inch dick, or brad pitt looks.
They usually have broken English. sound super nice and often use the word "dear" in their correspondence.
Their profile is all about how lovely life is and they are looking for their true soulmate, very lovey dovey.

2. They message as many guys as they can find and ask them to write to them directly on their email. usually their yahoo email because its easy to create many yahoo emails fast.
They want to pull you OFF this site and into their email because when I find them and block them then they can still connect to you on yahoo mail or skype.

3. Once they start talking to you they start working on you telling you how much they like you and gaining your trust.

4. Then they hit you up. They are really living in the UK. Or Africa, something like that, and they need money for a plane ticket to visit you.

Or some crazy scenario about how their passport was stolen, their sister is in the hospital and needs money, he was robbed and needs money, stuff like that.

This is a scam. If you send money or a plane ticket you WILL lose that money.

You ever see those "Nigerian scams", thats what these are.
These people are not real. Once they are banned they just create a new account.
They go ALL over the internet doing this.
On straight sites they make profiles of beautiful women to scam lonely men.
On gay sites they make profiles of hot guys to scam lonely men.

The other scam is asking you to see them on a porn site. They'll send you a link and once you go either the porn site has a virus, or it asks you to enter your name and credit card number.

Dont do it, its a scam and it happened to my best friend. He was another gay hookup site and someone wrote to him with a link to a porn site to see his pics. But he was smart enough to realize that weird looking porn site asking for hit credit card looked fishy and didnt put his personal information in, he left.

Im going to be sending a site wide email on this soon

Just remember, if someone looks too good to be true, immediately asks you to meet him on yahoo email or skype, asks you for money, block him. Its a scammer.

thanks
Marc

  • Thank you very much for the information that you have shared here

It is so strange with all the good people who honestly could use a hand and being down on their luck there are far more people out there still scamming ---- Honestly Real Sad for the people who have nothing better to do with their time....

And last ---- I have had one trying to get me to send them money --- this after many long emails back and forth and I honestly was just wanting to be a Friend --- and when the email came when he asked for money...... I just hit block further emails and that was that

Thank heavens It was a simple ass and no further action was needed

And this man came out of Russia real cutie ---- Looks are not everything

So look beyond the face and photos and you will see the real person

  • I love the fact they use the "young, nubile buck" pics. As that is far from my preference, it's very easy for me to suggest they hunt somewhere else. Now, if they were to use a pic of someone who looks like Sam Elliot, from his "Mask" days....well, that's a whole other story.

However, yes, please be careful out there guys. There are too many people eager to serparate you from your money, and playing on emotions is their main way to do so.

  • The other new scam that hit me on another site was a guy, a U.S. service guy in Afganistan who is looking to befriend men in the U.S. looking for someone to come home to. When I read it I knew it was fake and deleted it. Then I got the exact same message on another site with the same pic. Then I got the same one, AGAIN on here....when I called him on it the profile disappeared.

  • I know most people think this is obvious, but some people don't realize that people can make fake profiles.

One guy here sent $500 to someone he thought was in love with him.
    Another sent $1,000
Another guys sent $650, and then went to the airport waiting for this fake dream man to arrive and he never came.

This is how some people in poor countries make their living, by creating fake profiles and getting guys to fall in love with them promising a relationship.
And once they have your money they block you, delete their account, and just make a new one with a new fake picture and start it all over again.

Its hard to find them because they use fake ip addresses, so it looks like they are in the US when they are really from Nigeria or Philippines, etc. I usually cant find them until someone complains they are asking for money.
