Yahoo!'s has just published their list of the 25 most dangerous cities in America. What do you think? Do you think this is accurate?

1. Flint, Mich.
Flint reported 2,337 violent crimes per 100,000 people.

The city also reported 83 forcible rapes per 100,000 people. The national average is 26.8 forcible rapes per 100,000 people.

  • It could be a matter of reporting and statistics. How many crimes don't go reported in your "nice little town".

  • Well, since they're just using raw crime figures, I'd say it's accurate in that regard. Let me say though that I've been to No. 6 Little Rock many times and I don't consider it unusually dangerous.
