Easy to use?

Hey guys I need your opinion, do you find DaddyDater easy to use and navigate? Is it easy to find what you're looking for, or is it complicated and not user friendly?

I'm asking because I'm making a new site and I'm debating between just using this same layout, picture size, menu location, etc etc. Or going in a totally new direction.

Let me know your thoughts and be honest, wont hurt my feelings if you don't like something.
Im the type of person that if I have spinach in my teeth I want you to tell me lol.

  • Well Marc, I am a computer dummy and I find this site to be easy to use and is my favorite.There have been times when the bugs aggervated me and i thought I was doing something wrong but lately all is working well and total enjoyment. Good luck with the new site, and keep us informed.

  • Don't spit that spinach at me now. You asked.
    I wish there was a way to eliminate the repetion of members photos from page to page. I'd rather the site was five pages with only one photo of each member, than the ten pages repeating a member's photo five times.
    If the repetion of members can't be eliminated is there a way computerwise to rotate the members photographs from page to page. Several of us have more than one picture in our file. Say, for example, you are going to have to repeat one person's profile five times in the ten pages, why can't the computer shuffle the photos so that one photo appears on page one, a different photo would appear on page two, yet another on page four, etc on page six.
    You know I don't even know how to email a photo, but I know that the simplest computer is smarter than me and should be able to do it. Maybe someone out in Daddy Dater cyberspace could help you program it. It's just a thought.

    It is off-topic, but The only problem with the site I have is that it is difficult to post a new pic as an avatar in the chat room.

    Thats not my site, thats spyware you have on your computer. I never have any ads other than banners.
    You need to get rid of spyware or take it into someone to fix it.
    I reformat my computers every few months to keep the spyware off.

  • When you submit a blog have it go to a finished page.
    lengthen the list amount on the blogs to 20 (instead of five) and more on the other pages

  • Ok great that makes my life a lot easier lol. Im not changing anything here, just wanted to know if this general layout works before using it in other places.

    I might change the colors here someday as I sometimes feel its a little dark and needs lightening up. But wouldnt change anything else.

  • I agree totally, this site is amazingly simple and one of the best! I find that change is hard but if I may be honest the site is old. If you change anything maybe change the color of the background. Change the birthdays at the bottom and just put the user's birthday on the user's profiles. Just little things. I'd love to see more bright colors like red, orange and yellow. Or even a color change every now and then to the webmaster's specifications. So far this site has out beaten competitors by a long shot. Maybe if this isn't a problem, finding a way to send attachments with emails?!? None of this is necessary though. Just food for thought.

  • Overall, I'd say this is one of the easier to navigate sites. But of course, I spend a lot of time here and I'm used to quirks. There's always something to improve, always something to simplify, clarify. KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). Don't for a radical change or high-tech remodel.

    It's the little things that get me in trouble. Such as: on this screen there is the option to "Add picture" but not a reminder of the ?? K limit for this site. Too big of pic results in techy-geek messages that don't explain the problem.

  • This layout is very easy to navigate. A feature I would love and have told you before is that if you block a person, you don't see them any more. What is this new site about?
