Red Sox Thrash Yankees in a Humiliating Home Defeat
Well shoot, talk about your party balloon getting popped! Bottom line is Boston is just too good. I was holding out hope on Saturday when we were up 4-zip at the start of the 7th. That fizzled fast. Last night's game was pretty amazing. Boston's offense and defense were hitting all the right notes and were unstoppable. Just wished it had not been my team getting beat-up, who did not play terrible, but were just beat by a better team. Congrats Dav! Enjoy the win.
Phew--what a game. I'm glad that the clock read 12:30AM last night instead of 3:30AM for all of those watching on the EC. I have to admit I fell asleep at the bottom of the 14th but rallied in the 15th. Thoughts from last nights game: Max Muncy (what a name) looks damn hot in a wet t-shirt; what a heart breaker for Nathan Eovaldi as his pitching game was amazing. It made me think, would he have received the win if Boston had won? I've never seen a finisher pitch so many innings and stay so amazingly consistent. He's cute too. Bellinger's thrown from center field to home to get the out was amazing, but he still blew it for getting picked off. Ricky Henderson must have been watching and pissed to see a base steal so poorly executed. I love watching Dave Roberts get older, he's always been handsome, but damn he's getting sexy with age. I'll save the baseball smut for what I'd like to do with him in the dugout. Last night was great, but we're still down one with three wins to go. Go Dodgers! See you back at Fenway, Dav!

I was at Fenway Park Saturday and watched them have a humiliating loss to the Yankees, so last night was a nice reward. Hoping they can wrap it up tonight, but the fat lady doesn't always want to sing when you want her too. Moving on to Houston is a little scary because I remember what they did last year. The Red Sox are a great team this year and their cuteness doesn't hurt either. Good Luck to the Dodgers too.
