Diagnosed with cancer in October, 2012. Had surgery in November, had radiation therapy in December. Was told I was in remission February 14, 2013... 30 days later the cancer was back, worse that before... Now doing chemo therapy every other day... I was never in remission.... I'm taking interferon... it seems to have slowed things down a lot, but my oncologist says, less than 5% chance to survive... so I take it day by day... Lots of side effects with interferon... my muscle mass has melted away... constantly weak... I make a lot of jokes about having cancer and the eventually outcome... life has presented me with a lot of lemons, so now I'm making lemonaid.
