To any of the members here that are from France and specifically Paris I hope you and your friends and loved ones are safe.
After being on these Internet sites for awhile, I thought I would add one observation - I don't get all the label identifications. I guess if you feel the need to label yourself fine. I simply am not exclusively a 'Daddy', a Top, whatever. I like the guy I choose and who chooses me; we'll let the bedroom take care of itself.
And while I'm at it, I don't get people who try to denigrate folks 'with baggage'. By definition this means 'An issue regarding a person's past that can affect their current disposition: addictions, debt, diseases, bad habits, past relationships (significant other or family), or kids.' We all have crap in our lives and if you don't please continue to enjoy your life of solitude; I think people who don't also have little to share. My opinion, I'm welcome to it. Now if you don't mean this don't use the word. If you do mean this I interpret that to mean you are only interested in the act of sex and not getting to know a person and all their foibles. BORING, keep moving!
Now here is some info about me. I love all music, especially classical (I am also an amateur performer), theater (I very much like amateur theater and I am often pleasantly surprised how good it is), museums, and all the arts in general. I'm always hoping to find friends who also like to play chess or backgammon. I love to take walks at night - my daily exercise to keep the ticker pumping. I love reading the science fiction genre and watching science fiction/fantasy movies. I am also very much into sports - collegiate, professional and especially Olympic. I travel occasionally and I also have a timeshare in NYC. Cigars are my vice to which I will openly admit. I absolutely break out in hives with UB2 folks.
No pictures, and you can't send one via e-mail, no chat. No cam, I will not open mine. Period. And what is with people who have pictures that look like a part of a puzzle? You see half of an eye, right shoulder blade, close up of a navel. If you can't figure out how to center a picture in a camera frame or you think it's cute for us to collect picture parts over time to eventually make a photo - keep on going. And most recently I see far too many sideways; what's with that?!
Lastly, I do not understand nor can I excuse people who post profile comments with the amount of spelling errors and poor grammatical construction that I have seen here and on other Internet sites. Every major browser I have ever used supports spell checking as you create text, so what is the excuse? I simply no longer have any time for suffering stupidity as well as ignorance.
And for those of you appreciate a few things on Youtube, I want to offer up a few inspiring videos. I had to update the links but the site no longer allows them in profiles. So I had to enter only what follows the main Youtube address:
“watch?v=Z1QmeEdFOSc” - Whitney Houston at the Super Bowl 1991
“watch?v=8OcQ9A-5noM” - Susan Boyle's first appearance on Britain has Talent 2009
“watch?v=ZsNlcr4frs4” - the next surprise from 'Britain has Talent 2012' is singing duo Charlotte & Jonathan. Susan Boyle has opened the door for all who think they are average because of their looks but amaze us with their internal beauty and their ability to touch our hearts and souls.
“watch?v=uZsDliXzyAY” - U.N. speech by 14 year old I believe given in 1992 on the world environment and the need to protect our planet.
For anyone who has a young person or anyone for that matter in their life battling cancer this might be tough. But hopefully their fight and tenacity comes through in this strong performance of young people battling a terrible disease - lip-syncing and dancing to Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger".
“watch?v=ihGCj5mfCk8”
Whether or not you feel heavenly inspiration and how wonderful life is, entertain memories of something long gone, feel the warmth of friendship, or loving that bond of being part of the person you love, this is one of my all-time favorite slow movements from the Beethoven String Quartet Op. 132 played by the Borodin Quartet.
“watch?v=SK75WCcUDkM”
For those who have a loved one that is at the end of their life, this will always be my favorite and hopefully yours - Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. I never grew up with country western but I couldn't wait to buy the first album they did together.

I want to present at some International Conference of Internet participants my new law - that people's interest in you is proportional to the square of the distance from you. I rarely interest people within 25 miles either for chat or meeting but let them be a few states away and they are all over you. Go figure.
