Life-wise, I look for someone who can come home after a day in town, and help mend fence, break in the new colt, change the plugs in the dually, buck some hay with me, cook a mean chili, tuck our kids into bed with a whopper of a tale, then take me out naked under a Pendleton blanket, on horseback, out into Paradise Valley to watch the stars come out and wish on each one.
What I look fer in a guy is someone who is masculine enough that he doesn't need a Carhartt jacket to prove it. Some one who's rough enough whose bare paws have been weathered by the seasons, but soft when caressing my face. A guy who can make me laugh when the day is shining and wrap his paws around me when the world has forsaken me.
A man who knows his place in the world, and the importance of others in his life. Someone who is not afraid to engage in an argument as long as there is a point and reason for it, and knows to focus on solution, not blame. Someone who can care about the welfare of others, and take the time, not just the checkbook, to show it. A man to be proud enough to hold hands with, but comfortable enough to just let it be with a smile and a wink. A door opener, a go to the grocery store to get me medicine late at night, a food fight chef, a politically current and aware voter, a dog walker, a clapper at the end of my bad guitar song. A man whom my parents will love, our children will adore, and will cherish my heart.
And I have been fortunate to have found such a man so far almost 13 years ago. He makes me very proud to share my life with him, and he with me.
Always up for meeting new buds and old friends. Looking for guys who enjoy the outdoors, skiing, hiking, rafting, mountain biking. Give a friendly shout. I am also a private mountain guide and life coach as well specializing in helping gay/bi men living in rural settings-
Cheers-
Mick
